You wanted more - You got it!

May 16th 2007

MyImageHub now accepts all sorts of new file types. You want to upload some videos? Than just do it… Everyone can now upload all sorts of new files such as music, video, PDFs, and virtually any other type of file. This wouldn’t be so awesome if each file had to be less than 2MB like before. Now you can upload up to 5MB files with the standard upload method or up to 10MB with the bulk uploader.

So what’s next you ask? You will be seeing mostly small changes to the site’s look. As is done every so often we like to go through the interface and optimize it for ease of use and speed. Besides this we are working on making MyImageHub ridiculously user friendly. A better help section means that everyone can feel more comfortable with using all of the features we have to offer.

Oh yes, and while we know you are insanely excited about the good news please be sure to keep in mind that the uploading of copyrighted materials is strictly forbidden!

Stasis returns to the MyImageHub world

May 1st 2007

Everything should be back up and working 100%. We were successfully able to move a few hundred thousand images to our new server. For those of you who don’t know (or care) about all this technical mumbo-jumbo don’t worry- you just need to know that everything will be working better around here. This recent change also means much more time for us to get rolling on developing some new features.

If your account is still not working properly please contact us and you will be uploading again in no time! Also, be sure to keep checking the blog for the latest updates and to post some comments or email us your ideas.
Remember the equation: [Our technically able and somewhat creative minds] + [Your input, insults, and ideas] + [Caffeine] = Awesome new features for you

Check Out the New Features!

March 30th 2007

MyImageHub has had a make over! There is a number of new features and changes to the the style of the site to make it more visually pleasing. Some of the new features included are outlined below.

  • MyImageHub PRO Accounts - Now users who need more space or need to upload larger files can upgrade to PRO accounts. PRO accounts offer users with 9GB of disk space and 100GB of transfer. PRO users can upload files up to 10MB in size.
  • Enhanced Bulk Uploader - The bulk uploader has been updated to be more user friendly. Now when you select or drag and drop images to upload, it will be added to a group of thumbnails. You can browse the thumbnails of the images you will be uploading before you upload them as well.
  • Improved Photo Albums - Over the past few months there have been a few small (and subtle) changes to the photo album pages. The new design makes the photo album list a bit more intuitive.
  • MyImageHub News Blog - We decided on releasing a new blog to better communicate with our community. All site news and updates will be posted here, along with other important stuff. Be sure to check back often and comment on our posts!

We have a number of new features still in development including a community forum, an improved help section, and tons of new features for users to manage their files and photo albums. Comments are always welcome!
